One of the things that I truly loved about this resort is its unique property design and how lovely and friendly the staff members were here.

Moreover, the resort ensures that 50% of its workforce is from the local areas to help the region in economic prosperity. And the energy-efficient designs used in the construction of this hotel ensure that the hotel is eco-friendly as well.

5 Reasons to Stay in Mana Hotels

Now, you might be wondering what is so special about this property and why you should opt for the hotel.

Well, here are a few reasons that might convince you that a stay in Mana Hotels would be like an experience like no other.

Sanitized and Hygienic Property

First and foremost, seeing that we are in the middle of the pandemic, what I really admired about Mana Hotels is their determination to keep the customer’s health as their priority.

All the staff members were wearing masks throughout our stay here, and the rooms were cleaned thoroughly and regularly along with regular sanitization measures.

Moreover, they do a temperature check when you check in to ensure that you are well and won’t pose a problem for other guests.

That’s not all, there were sanitizers placed at all the common areas so that everyone could regularly sanitize their hands.

In the restaurant as well, the proper hygiene measures were followed, and all the waiters wore a mask while serving the guests.

This is extremely important at such a time, and I am really glad that the resort took all the efforts to ensure the safety of the staff and the guests.

Unique and Attractive Hotel Design

One of my favorite things about Mana Hotels after its amazing staff was its unique and environmental-conscious design.

Each villa and building has been designed using a single stone wall that stabilizes the structure. The other three sides of the villas have been designed using lightweight steel and glass, so the place looks both old school and modern at the same time.

Moreover, the rooms were spacious enough to avoid crowding in public spaces as well. And the beautifully decorated gardens all around the resort further added to its charm.

Sightseeing In and Around Ranakpur

Another great thing about Mana Hotels is that they even offer sightseeing packages for Ranakpur to the guests who stay here.

So, whether you are a history buff or an adventure junkie, you will find something to pique your interest during your stay. You can choose to go on the Kumbalgarh Fort tour or take a tour of the beautifully carved Ranakpur Jain temples.

There are several treks, village tours, step wells, etc., that you can explore with the help of the hotel staff too.

Personally, I loved the Leopard Safari that was arranged by the resort and where I was lucky enough to visit 1 leopard in the middle of the winter season.

Spacious and Cozy Rooms

As I have mentioned before, this boutique resort is huge and extremely spacious, so it is not surprising that each room here is sufficiently spacious as well.

Apart from being spacious, the rooms are cozy and tastefully decorated and include a private bathroom, cupboard, and several basic amenities to make your stay comfortable in this resort.

I stayed in a ground-floor villa and was absolutely blown by how beautiful and cozy it was.

Although it was peak winters when I visited Mana Resort, not once did I feel cold inside the room and even have a private Jacuzzi to enjoy.

Wide Range of Services and In-House Activities

Last but not the least, the resort offers a lot of services and activities to the guests.

In fact, Mana Hotels is the only hospitality establishment in South Rajasthan that offers a Hot Air Balloon experience to its guests. This experience is a part of the Mana Event that is held every year in Ranakpur and is a great way to enjoy your stay here.

Apart from that, you will also find a wide range of services provided here, such as high tea at Ranakpur Dam, cooking classes, camel rides, pottery workshops, and a lot more.

They also have in-house activities such as board games, badminton, swings, table tennis, pool, etc., that the guests can indulge in while staying in the resort.

Coming to the rooms available in the Mana resort, as I mentioned before, there are a total of 49 luxury rooms in this resort.

Out of these, there are 18 villas and 31 rooms that cater to the needs of different kinds of travelers.

Here is a short description of each of these rooms to give more idea about the resort.

This is the largest room in the resort that is located in a secluded area to give privacy to the guests and offers unparalleled luxury to the guests.

With these rooms, you get a separate dining area and an outdoor courtyard along with a bathtub.

Another luxury room that is perfect for enjoying privacy is this villa that is located on the first floor of the Duplex Villas. From these rooms, you can enjoy the amazing views of the Aravallis.

Food at Mana Resort

Of course, as I mentioned before, there is a restaurant situated on the resort premises where you can enjoy delicious meals.

One of the best things about Mana is that they offer vegetarian, non-vegetarian, and Jain food. The restaurant is open from 7 a.m. to 10.30 p.m. with limited services available 24 hours.

Honestly, I loved the food here and would definitely recommend everyone to try out the Ker Sangri and Bajra Roti here.

For breakfast, the hotel arranges a buffet every morning that consists of a wide range of options such as sandwiches, toast, juice, eggs, poha, vada, and so on.

What is interesting about the menu of Mana is that it is an online menu to limit contact, and there are all kinds of food options available here.

The food is pretty delicious too so, you can order anything you want without worrying about how it would taste.

How to Reach Ranakpur

The closest airport is Maharana Pratap in Udaipur which is around 120 km from Mana Resort.

You will find private taxis available from the airport to the resort, or you can get a pick-up arranged from the hotel for an additional cost.

The nearest railway station is Falna Railway Station at a distance of 33 km.

Again, you have the option of hiring a private taxi or arranging a pick-up or drop service with the hotels for a smooth journey.

If you are reaching in your own car, then it will be quite easy to get to Mana Hotels as the road is well-connected to all the nearby cities.

On the other hand, if you are taking public transportation, then you might have to struggle a bit.

There is no direct private bus to Ranakpur so, you need to reach Udaipur or Desuri first.

From Udaipur, you will get local buses that take 2-3 hours. From Desuri, you can get shared auto to Sadri and can convince the auto driver to take you to Mana Hotels too.

Best Time to Visit

Although you can visit Ranakpur throughout the year, the best time to visit would be just after the summer season.

From the onset of the monsoon season in mid-July, the entire region experiences pleasant weather, and there is greenery all around you.

Winter is a good time to visit if you wish to go on the Ranakpur Jungle Safari as the safaris and national reserves are closed during the monsoon season.

Apart from that, you can visit in the summer season as well since this place experiences a pleasant climate throughout the year.
